How we deliver for your business
Our goal at the CCA is to connect our members to more work, increase their opportunities to build connections in the industry and provide maximum value for their membership. This guides our work every single day.
Vision & Leadership
Our industry is complex and changing. New disruptive technologies, ever-shifting regulations and a need to create new streams of talent in our industry are all creating opportunities. We help our members understand where the industry is going and how they can thrive today and into the future.
A Legacy of Achievement
In 2019, we celebrate our 75th anniversary. That’s 75 years of supporting, serving and stewarding our industry as our city has grown. It’s also 75 years of helping our members succeed, whether they are senior managers with decades of experience or someone new to the industry experiencing their very first day on the job.
The Calgary Construction Association has been a shining light for its members & for the construction industry during this pandemic. COVID has catapulted us into a new world and I am so impressed how quickly the CCA has reached out, provided support, engaged with the right stakeholders to bring timely, relevant and applicable information. Thank you for being a trusted leader and partner for all of us!

Pomerleau joined the CCA in 2018 to show support to our local Construction Association and to be an active member of the Construction Industry in Calgary. We have been hugely impressed with the CCA’s dedication to their members and the very inclusive environment they have created. It has been a real pleasure to both sponsor and attend their professional and social events in 2018 and we really look forward to more involvement with the CCA in 2019!

The project is expected to begin construction in early 2021 and be completed in 2023, supporting 20 direct and 16 indirect jobs. The city about 100 kilometres southeast of Edmonton will also receive $1.6 million toward the $2.2-million cost of resurfacing its airport runway, a project the government said will be complete in...
via Alberta Construction Association ACA recently accepted an invitation to provide input to the Government of Alberta for the proposed Infrastructure Act and the legislated commitment to release and regularly review a 20 Year Capital Strategic Plan. We sent in a letter to the Infrastructure Minister outlining our recommendations on the legislation. Our letter introduces and expands on a number of ways to make infrastructure funding stable, affordable, and efficient for government and the industry. Keeping the 1 in 10 Albertans who work in the industry employed while continuing to create the infrastructure needed to continue to deal with the...

After nearly 40 years in the industry and having seen so much become somewhat confrontational over the last decade, I have never been prouder to work with some of our industry’s best leaders in what has to be one of the most significant examples of collaboration I have ever experienced. In the weeks leading up to March 15th all in the Construction Industry were tracking how COVID was spreading. They knew that it was only a matter of time before it would impact us in Calgary. With major...
