Our Mission

At the Calgary Construction Association, our mission is to help our members thrive now and into the future, and to be an advocate for the construction industry.

We do this through a broad variety of services including educational programming, scholarships, networking opportunities and events, government advocacy work, our Affinity Program, and our BuildWorks portal.

75 years of innovation and excellence

When the CCA was founded 75 years ago, Calgary was a small city without an international profile. Over the last three quarters of a century, it’s become a centre of Canadian commerce. Against this backdrop the CCA has grown, taking on a role as the voice of the construction industry and developing programs, events and advocacy work to broaden opportunities for the entire industry. At the CCA, we are growing with our city and our industry, and we believe our best days are still ahead of us.

Our communications work

Every day we work to pursue excellence in our work and further our mission through an integrated series of communications activities targeting key issues of importance to our members and the construction industry at large. We invite you to learn more about the CCA’s key values and areas of focus.
