This course is delivered in partnership between your local construction association and other associations throughout Western Canada. You’ll be participating in a cohort with industry peers from across these regions.

James Johnston, Quality Dynamics Inc., Winnipeg

James Johnston is a Professional Industrial Engineer, a member of the Lean Construction Institute, an advisor to the Board of the Lean Construction Institute of Canada, an Accredited Instructor for the Associated General Contractors’ Lean Construction Education Program and has extensive experience and success implementing Lean Construction tools on construction projects that range in value from $5,000,000 to $150,000,000. James is a nationally recognized speaker on the topic of Lean Construction and has addressed audiences across the country, most recently as a seminar speaker at Construct Canada, the largest builder’s expo in Canada. He has 25 years of experience as a consultant and instructor, leading organizations through Lean transformations, implementing quality assurance systems and business process optimization.

Cancellation Policy:

Payment is non-refundable for cancellations made within 5 business days of the course, or non-attendance on the day. Complimentary substitution of another member of your company is accepted. If CCA has to postpone or cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment, CCA will refund the registration fee or, if possible, the attendee may choose to move to an identical session in the future. Unless otherwise stated, every person able to see, hear, and observe the virtual course sessions must be a paid participant. Non-compliance of this requirement will result in removal from course. Refunds will not be issued to students who are removed from the course for non-compliance of this requirement.

(Replacing the Canada – Alberta Job Grant)

The Canada-Alberta Productivity Grant (CAPG) helps employers invest in training that focuses on enhancing productivity skills for their current and future employees that aligns with the needs of their business. It is an employer-driven program meant to partially reimburse the cost for an employer to send their employee(s) for training.

Did you know!! Eligible employers can get government funding to help employees access training opportunities. The CAPG will give you up to 50% of the registration fee (up to $5,000/employee/fiscal year) for training. Whether taking one eligible course or a combination of eligible courses.
