ADVOCACY UPDATE, Q3 2024: The Calgary Construction Association (CCA) continues its pursuit of meaningful advocacy for our membership and Calgary’s construction industry. As we reflect on the third quarter of 2024, this report captures our dedication and effort in advocating for Calgary’s construction industry. The past months have seen us engage in impactful endeavours, creating new advocacy paths and building on existing ones – all to engage our community to build better.
Whether it be providing commentary in the media, meeting with city and provincial officials, launching programs like Honour The Work, and raising the construction industry’s concerns on issues like the Calgary watermain break, Canada-Alberta Job Grant funding, and the Green Line LRT, we’re focused on ensuring that the voice of Calgary’s construction community is heard.
