CCA at City Council to address the City of Calgary’s Community Development Committee

On May 31st, both Frano Cavar and Bill Black were at City Council to address the City of Calgary’s Community Development Committee on the proposed Pathways to 2050 Climate Strategy Plan, highlighting the impacts of the plan on our local construction industry.

The Calgary Construction Association believes in the importance of the aspirational goals of the City’s climate strategy. We raised concerns about the feasibility of the City’s implementation targets around residential and commercial building retrofits.
