CCA Update March 17, 2020
Dear Members and Colleagues,
CCA UPDATE
As we enter another day with local, national and global circumstances continuing to
evolve we wanted to reach out with an update for our members.
There are many examples emerging of our great community spirit at work around our
city and our own construction community is no different. We have been talking to many
of you over the last 24hrs. We are learning from you all and we certainly feel the stress
out there.
With many questions and concerns arising daily we are looking for ways to assist
members in finding answers or guidance.
Starting today and continuing throughout this week our Business Hub is co-hosting an
online Zoom chat from 9:00 – 10:00 AM for business owners, managers and supervisors
with Michelle Berg of Elevated HR where she will take your questions – register here and
feel free to join in any of them this week.
We are also facilitating an industry dialogue every two days with a number of industry
leaders in order to share knowledge and best practices as they emerge so we can learn
together and provide insight where possible.
We are posting several articles and resources daily on our CCA Updates tab of the
website that contain information and facts as well as many of the provincial and federal
updates. Keep checking back there as we will continue to add to this page over the next
few days.
The CCA team are available to receive your calls and will make sure that we are able to
maintain our services for you as needed despite the situation.

We are hearing words like “uncharted” and “unprecedented” a lot these days and will
likely continue to hear them many more times over the weeks ahead. This situation is
evolving every 12 hrs so staying informed will be key. We will do our best to curate as
many of these sources as possible in order to make them available to our members and
meantime please feel free to reach out directly with any other questions that you may
have.
