Karen Knowlton is a Partner at Stawowski McGill, a Calgary-based fractional CFO advisory firm serving private companies across construction, manufacturing, energy services, and professional services. She is a CPA with 20+ years experience in supporting business owners in gaining clarity, confidence, and control, working through the financial and strategic challenges that present themselves in business. She believes that the most useful thing an advisor can do is show up with humility, ask the right questions, and stay genuinely invested in the outcome, for the business and the people behind it. The long-standing relationships built are what she values most about her work in the Calgary business community. When not in the office, you can find Karen somewhere in the backcountry of the Alberta Rockies or traveling the globe looking for new mountains to climb.
