Prompt Payment Plain Language Guidelines
Alberta Construction Association is pleased to share updated versions of our Prompt Payment Plain Language Guides.
These updates reflect changes to the Prompt Payment and Lien Act introduced last year and are designed to make Alberta’s prompt payment requirements clearer, more accessible, and easier to apply in day-to-day project delivery.
Our goal is to support contractors, subcontractors, and owners by reducing confusion, improving contract administration, and helping everyone navigate the timelines and processes in the legislation with confidence.
