Software upgrade will temporarily affect some online tools
The City is upgrading some software that will temporarily affect access to some of Planning & Development Services online tools.
Please be aware that the following applications on Calgary.ca will be offline from Friday, May 17 at 5 p.m. to Tuesday, May 21 at 8 a.m These applications include:
Affected PDS applications and systems:
- Inspections Booking
- Shopping Cart
- Online Services (myHome, myBusiness)
- Apply Central
- ePermits
- eTrades
- VISTA
- UDO (Urban Development Online)
- DMAP (Development Map)
- BIS (Business Information System questionnaire)
- PDS Customer Survey
- DART Directory
- POSIDEN
- CASPER
- Secondary Suites Map
Input from the public on development applications that matter to them is an essential part of the development process. During this outage, comments can be submitted by emailing us at approvals@calgary.ca, please include the File Number (example DP2024-XXXXX or LOC2024-XXXX) in the Subject Header.
Booking inspections online will also experience the outage. Please book your inspections prior to this planned outage. You can book your inspections up to 10 business days in advance.
The City schedules this type of outage at times when the anticipated traffic is low, and we provide the public with as much advance warning as possible. These tools will continue to be available before the outage period and resume by 8 a.m. on May 21.
