Connecting Shop Class to Industry
Program Overview
The Adopt a Shop program is an exciting initiative designed to connect industry professionals with the next generation of tradespeople.
By partnering with local schools, industry leaders in automotive, welding, and construction trades will provided mentorship, hands-on training, and real-world experience to students.
This collaborative program aligns with Alberta’s Career and Technology Studies (CTS) curriculum, ensuring students meet required learning outcomes while gaining valuable industry insights.
Industry experts will not only offer guidance but also contribute monetary and in-kind donations, helping to provide necessary tools, materials, machinery, and safety items. These contributions will enhance the learning environment and ensure that students are equipped to succeed.
How to Get Involved
Adopt a Shop
