Government of Alberta introduced Bill 37: Builders’ Lien (Prompt Payment) Amendment Act, 2020.

Yesterday afternoon the Government of Alberta introduced Bill 37: Builders’ Lien (Prompt Payment) Amendment Act, 2020. The CCA supports this legislation and we also appreciate the extent of industry consultation that was sought by Service Alberta during this process and the role we were able to play in this along with other industry associations such as ACA, ATCC etc in providing technical expertise that assisted in drafting this legislation.
