Dear colleagues and members, The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) has retained Nanos Research to gather views from important stakeholders in the construction industry. The CCA is seeking input to support a vision for Canada’s infrastructure investments. This includes answering the three questions outlined in the Federal Governments’ request for consultation on its Infrastructure 2050 initiative: How to assess infrastructure needs and establish a long-term vision; How to improve coordination among infrastructure owners and funders; and How to determine the best ways to fund and finance infrastructure. Canadian Entrepreneur Mental Health and Well-Being Report: May 2021
Via BDC How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected the mental health of Canadian entrepreneurs? To find out, BDC surveyed 500 entrepreneurs between August 2020 and March 2021 to better understand their ability to cope with the crisis as well as their largest source of stress and worries. As COVID cases rise and fall, so do the mental health and mindset of entrepreneurs. Compared to last November, more entrepreneurs in March have reported feeling in control of their situation (70% compared to 57%). COVID-19 Construction Industry Town Hall
On May 20th CCA, along with Alberta Concrete and Dr. Jia Hu, public health doctor and Co-Founder of the 19ToZero coalition hosted a very successful Town Hall.
