To view the newsletter please click here Dear industry partners, Effective today, as The City responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, the third-floor counter at the Municipal Building is changing how we accept physical applications to prevent the spread of the virus. We are temporarily closing the front counter and accepting applications only by drop-off, or through our online systems. We are still operating normal business hours and confident we can continue service through drop-off and online. CCA Update March 19, 2020 Dear Members and Colleagues, CCA UPDATE Over the course of Wednesday there were more announcements from federal and provincial sources providing financial support and relief for individuals and business impacted by the crisis. Wednesday also saw our first Industry Leaders conference call with senior people from many of the construction firms in the Calgary are including General Contractors and Trade Partners. 2020 Tax Bulletin – COVID-19 Due to the ongoing impact from the coronavirus COVID-19, the Government of Canada has released various programs and initiatives to help individuals and businesses with their finances and tax obligations. The personal tax filing deadline has been pushed back to June 1, 2020 and the Corporate and Personal Income Tax balances owing after March 18th, 2020 do not need to be paid until September 1, 2020.
